Métis Youth (Grades 10 to 12)
OTAWN: Virtual Métis Youth Cultural Camp
The OTAWN Virtual Métis Youth Cultural Camp will celebrate Métis history, traditional and contemporary way-of-life and culture. Programming will engage Métis youth in different workshops focusing on harvesting (on land and water), music, beading, finger-weaving and more. Access to technology and reliable internet is required to participate in the camp. The camp runs October 23 to 25. Application deadline is October 9, 2020. Apply Here
PCMNO Meeting / post-Meeting Town Hall
PCMNO to meet via videoconference
The Provisional Council of the Métis Nation of Ontario (PCMNO) will be meeting via videoconference on October 3 & 4, 2020. This meeting of the PCMNO will include a swearing-in ceremony that will be posted to the MNO website.
Once again there will be a post-PCMNO Town Hall scheduled with Community Council leadership to provide updates and provide an opportunity to asks questions. Members of MNO Community Councils, Advisory Councils, and Captains of the Hunt are invited to join a Town Hall discussion being held on Wednesday, October 7 @ 7:00 PM EDT. Note that this Town Hall will be held via the Zoom platform as means of introducing MNO leadership to some of the technology that will be in use at the upcoming Virtual Annual General Assembly in November. Details to follow.

A Citizen Town Hall will be scheduled prior to the AGA to provide updates and allows citizens to get comfortable with the platforms that will be utilized during the AGA.

Update your contact info with MNO Registry
If you feel you are missing communications from the MNO, you may need to update your contact information! MNO Registry is actively reaching out to citizens who don't have up-to-date addresses on file. In the next few weeks Citizens may get a phone call or email asking them to confirm information for their MNO Registry file.
You can also contact MNO Registry to update your information, via email at info@mnoregistry.ca, by calling 1-855-798-1006, or by filling out and submitting a Change of Address Form.
