The Thunder Bay and District Métis Council has changed the process this year.

The training is open to Métis Nation of Ontario citizens who reside in the Thunder Bay and District Métis Council area. The applicant must be a  registered citizen and appear on the TB&DMC council citizenship list.

Prior to signing up for training the applicant must register with the TB&DMC with their full name and citizenship number. The Council will then verify the applicant’s citizenship and approve the applicant.

The citizen will be allowed to source out their own course and take the training.

On proof of successful completion of the training the applicant would then  submit the receipt to Council for reimbursement. The applicant will be reimbursed for the course fees only.
