The Thunder Bay Métis Nation is an MNO chartered community council that represents Métis citizens at a local level.

 

As stated on the MNO website “Community Councils operate in accordance with MNO Charter Agreements, which give councils the mandate to govern, while ensuring accountability, transparency, and consistency.”  

 

The Council meets monthly at the Métis Community Hall; all MNO citizens are welcome to attend.  For more information please contact the council.

CLIMATE CHANGE (chanj klimatik) Inviting Region 2 Métis citizens to attend a virtual Regional Climate Change Event on March 21, 2023 at 6:00pm (EST)

The MNO is developing climate change mitigation and adaptation programming.  This event will give citizens the opportunity to share input to help the MNO in its program development as well as learn about current best practicesegional Climate Change Event on March 21, 2023 at 6:00pm (EST)
